Science Fiction

Science fiction, often called “sci-fi,” is a genre of fiction literature whose content is imaginative, but based in science. It relies heavily on scientific facts, theories, and principles as support for its settings, characters, themes, and plot-lines, which is what makes it different from fantasy. Some examples of sci-fi movies are Bladerunner , The Martian and Avatar.

Some sub genres of science fiction are:
 *Alien Invasion - Independence Day
 *Cyberpunk - Bladerunner
 *Dying Earth - Take Shelter
 *First Contact - Star Trek
 *Galactic Empire - Star Wars
 *Human Development - Shutter Island

There are many other sub genres that make up science fiction.

However, as the movie advances we are hit with a shocking and mind-bending ending that tops off the movie and leaves the audience spooked with disbelief. The overall purpose of this psychological thriller is to showcase the amazing power of the mind and how it can shield you from reality when injured, showing the deception you have over yourself. This main feature is why the movie is so popular and loved by most if not a
