Some examples of sci-fi movies are Bladerunner , The Martian and Avatar.
Some sub genres of science fiction are:
*Alien Invasion - Independence Day
*Cyberpunk - Bladerunner
*Dying Earth - Take Shelter
*First Contact - Star Trek
*Galactic Empire - Star Wars
*Human Development - Shutter Island
There are many other sub genres that make up science fiction.
